Extensive background in all aspects of visible and infrared focal plane test & radiometry.  Radiometric modeling and calibration of IR and visible test systems. 
 

1982 – 2022:  Raytheon Vision Systems/SBRC

Specification, design and development of pour-fill, continuous-flow, and closed-cycle dewar systems for production and characterization testing of sensor chip assemblies and focal plane modules. 

Design, specification, and calibration of Vis - SWIR integrating sphere systems, with both LED’s and incandescent lamps. 

Design of focused spot optical systems, fiber  sources and collimating optics.

Detailed electrical and radiometric uncertainty analyses

Performance and diagnostic testing of focal plane arrays from visible to very long wavelength IR

Analysis of stray light in infrared systems. 

Test and characterization of CCD’s.  Development of test equipment for detector characterization.
